About me

Hello and welcome! I'm Sinara Gharibyan, a dedicated and enthusiastic 5th year Ph.D. student, research assistant, and teaching assistant at CERGE-EI. I am passionate about unraveling the intricate threads of history through data analysis, focusing on the captivating intersections of political economics, gender roles, and human capital. I've developed a profound appreciation for the power of historical data. I specialize in utilizing quasi-experimental historical settings, combined with advanced econometric tools, to tease out connections between historical events and contemporary outcomes. I am working under supervision of Assistant Professor Christian Ochsner .
